Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-10-08.

What we collect

This site has no accounts, no sign-up, and no forms that send data to us. The town search and planting calendar run entirely in your browser; what you type is not sent anywhere.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and performance. We do not use this to identify you.

Cookies and advertising

We may show advertising in the future to cover costs. If we do, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. This policy will be updated before any advertising or analytics is added.

Analytics

We do not currently use analytics. If we add privacy-respecting analytics later, this page will say so.

Links to other sites

We link to NOAA, university extension services and other sources. Their privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and contact

We will post any changes on this page. See the contact page for how to reach us.
